BYD’s Szeged factory is one of the most significant automotive investments in Europe, marking a significant milestone in the continent’s electromobility transition. The modern, high-capacity plant aims to produce the company’s fully electric and plug-in hybrid models directly for the European market, thus playing a strategic role in shaping the sustainable transport of the future. The factory complex, which will be built in several phases, was built in line with the most modern technological, logistical and energy efficiency requirements, and this required building services solutions that fully meet the strict technical and operational requirements of international car manufacturing. Our company participated in the project as the person responsible for the entire building services design: we supported the implementation of the investment by developing innovative HVAC systems and modern technological cooling and air supply solutions.
