Chinese-owned Chervon Auto has established its first European manufacturing base in Miskolc, taking a significant step towards the European automotive market. The project, which started in October 2021, was implemented in the Mechatronics Industrial Park in just one and a half years. The establishment of the factory was not only a milestone from a technological point of view, but also created around 150 new jobs in the region.

The central element of the almost 33,000 square meter industrial complex is the 25,000 m² production hall, which is primarily used for the production of cast and machined parts for electric vehicles. The high-capacity die-casting machines used in the plant are outstanding both domestically and regionally. Their size and performance are several times higher than those of similar, commonly used equipment. The plant's planned capacity is 2 million vehicle parts per year.
